Academica is a free digital inter-library loan service that provides access to a wide range of scientific publications, including those in the fields of medical and pharmacological sciences. To browse these resources, simply enter a search term and if necessary, the system will suggest related terms.
The service offers access to both public resources and publications protected by copyright. Access to public publications is available from any device with internet connection, while viewing other resources requires using a registered institutional computer.
In our library, this can be done via computer number 12, located on the first floor in the Free Access Zone. It is also necessary to have an account in the Academica system, which can be created by the librarian. The only required document is a library card or another ID (if the library card is unavailable).
The collection includes not only books, journals, and articles but also reports, photographs, graphics, leaflets, postcards, and manuscripts.
The Academica system is a valuable tool for students and academic staff, supporting learning and research development through various conveniences in the inter-library loan process:
Additionally, if the requested publication cannot be found in the Academica resources, it is possible to request its digitization through a special form.
