Please note: All books with the location “Storeroom – short-term loan” or “Open Access Area – short-term loan” are loaned for a period of 1 month, regardless of the user’s status.
The library account number is sent to the email address provided during online registration. When the account is activated, the user is also assigned an additional login in the format “name.surname” (lowercase letters, without diacritical marks). The password is set by the user during the online registration process.

A user who forgets their password can reset it themselves by selecting “Forgot password” on the login page.
Books are requested through the WMU Library online catalogue.
Books with the location “WMU Clinics and Departments” are not available for individual users to borrow.
Selected collections held by individual departments within the Faculty of Pharmacy are available exclusively to staff of those departments.
Requested items can be collected from the Circulation Desk at the Main Library, 2-6 Marcinkowskiego Street, 1st floor.
Requests not collected within 7 days are automatically cancelled by the system. This deadline cannot be extended. When collecting requested items, users must have their electronic student ID card. Users who fail to collect requested books may have their library account temporarily blocked.

The Library has two Open Access Areas (SWD): a book collection on the 1st floor and a journal collection on the 2nd floor. Books in the Open Access Area are arranged according to the National Library of Medicine (NLM) Classification and the Library of Congress Classification (LCC).
Books in the Open Access Area are marked with coloured strips indicating how the collections may be used. Books marked with a red strip are for on-site use only. Books marked with a green strip are short-term loans and can be borrowed for 1 month, regardless of the user’s status.
Borrowing from the Open Access Area is done using the self-checkout.
Books requested from Branch No. 1 at the Faculty of Pharmacy can be collected at Branch No. 1, 211 Borowska Street.
Users can renew their loans up to three times, as long as the books have not been reserved by another user.

Self-renewal via Integro is available from 90 days before the due date up to and including the last day of the loan period. The renewed loan period begins on the day of renewal. The new due date is determined according to the user’s status (3-12 months) or the type of book (1 month).
Five days before the due date, the PROLIB system automatically sends a reminder to the email address provided by the user and in their library account.
