Research data deposited in PMP-WUM repository is made available publicly in accordance with the Create Commons license chosen by the author(s).
When granting a license for research data, the author provides a written or electronic statement regarding their choice of license.
Various forms for different license variants are attached as an annex to the Directive No. 177/XVI R/2023.
The choice of license for deposited research data may depend on the contract made with grant provider or publisher.
The core element of Creative Commons (CC) licenses is attribution (marked as BY), which allows for copying, distributing, displaying and using a work and all of its derivatives, provided that information about the creator, the source of the work, and the license itself are included. The CC BY clause is used in every CC license because moral rights of authors are inalienable. The author can add additional conditions how others may use their work:
