Clearance slips

WMU Students

Your clearance slip will be signed and stamped provided that you have returned all items borrowed from the Main Library or its branches and you have no outstanding payments to make. Please print out your clearance slip from Virtual Library – instruction on how to generate a clearance slip and come to the Library (Circulation desk on the first floor) with it and some ID. Once your clearance slip is stamped, your account status will change to Alumni. Alumni can not borrow books for off-site use but they can read books on site. Library account remains active until the end of the calendar year. Once the year ends, the account will be removed unless it again changes its status.

Obligation card

The obligation card is issued at the request of a UMW student. It is required when opening accounts at libraries participating in the agreement among Wrocław universities. Students who have been given such cards should settle any outstanding obligations with Wrocław’s university libraries before they can clear their account with the Main Library. The issuance of the Obligation Card is confirmed by the Reader’s handwritten signature and registered (scanned) in the library system.

In the event of losing the Obligation Card, please report it to the library. The student will receive a duplicate card, on which they must confirm the absence of any outstanding obligations at the five main university libraries in Wrocław.

WMU staff

Your clearance slip will be signed and stamped provided that all library items were returned and you have no outstanding payments to make. Please come to the Library (to the circulation desk on the first floor) with some ID. Once your clearance slip is signed, your account will be removed.

Students from other universities

Please come to the Library (Circulation desk on the first floor) with some ID. Your clearance slip will be signed and stamped provided that you have returned all borrowed items and you have no outstanding payments to make. Once your clearance slip is signed, your library account will be removed.
